| Band/Orchestra |
A group of dedicated instrumentalists wo regularly practice in the clubhouse, the Band-Orchestra has played for many Leisure World events. Membership is open to dedicated musicians of varied abilities. |
| Bible Study |
Three different groups meet weekly and are open to all denominations. |
| Blue River Singers |
This group gets together to sing old-time favorites. They take their music on the road, visiting adult day care and assisted living facilities. New members always welcome. |
| Democratic Club |
This club organizes support for Democratic Party principles and provides member access to Democratic candidates for local and national offices. Personal contact with candidates helps make members more informed and thoughtful voters. Candidates attend nearly every meeting. |
| Discovery Club |
The Discovery Group is intended to provide a forum for exploring subjects of interest to the group; calling on Leisure World® residents & neighbors who have had careers or interests in various fields to lead discussions at the layman's level. |
| Duplicate Bridge |
Two opportunities to play, the second Saturday each month in Potomac Ridge, or the third Sunday in the Clubhouse. |

Performers and a support cast produce shows for the homeowners and their guest. New members always welcome. |

| Garden Club |
The Club provides a forum for residents to discuss mutual gardening issues, to learn from experts and to support gardening throughout our community. The group meets on the second Friday of each month at 10:00 am in the Monroe Auditorium. |
| Hiking Club |
Formed in the fall of 2008 for residents and friends who want to enjoy an outdoor event each month. The group meets in front of the Clubhouse on the third Saturday of each month. After the hike of three to five miles, the group has a reserved lunch at a local restaurant. Each hike is rated from easy to moderate. |

Think Bookmobile PLUS! The Loudoun County Library visits twice a month with library services. One visit each month includes a book discussion (title advertised in advance by the Activities office). Gather in the fireplace lounge outside La Pergola.. |

| Military Veterans Club |
Open to those who honorably served in any of the five branches of U.S. forces. Those related to Service Members may become auxiliary members. Those who served allied nations or participated in defense of the U.S. in non-military capacities may become honorary members. The purpose of the club is to: (1) Provide a community service by honoring wounded warriors; (2) Support Veteran's Activities; (3) provide a relevant guest speaker program open to the LWVA population; and, (4) Sponsor social events as appropriate. |

The Club is a great social as well as artistic outlet. It is a place where one can find companionship as well as solitude. On-premises kiln. $25 annual fee for supplies. |

Looking for something fun to do during the coldermonths? Want to learn some new skills (or shake the rust off old skills)? Need an new exercise activity? Interested in improving your reflexes and hand/eye coordination? The Table Tennis Club has something for everyone! For the beginner: � Learn the rules of the game, the basic table tennis strokes, make new friends. Equipment is provided. Introductory group lessons are given the first Saturday of each month from 1-2pm. Free refreshments will be provided. Open play from 1-2pm on the remaining Saturdays. For the more experienced player: Enjoy friendly competition. Learn advanced techniques from more experienced players. Make new friends. Equipment is provided or BYOP (Bring Your Own Paddle). Open play from 2-4pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. |

| Torch Club |
All LeisureWorld residents are welcome: A chapter of Torch International, meets the third Tuesday, September through May, at 6:00 p.m., for cocktails and dinner at the Clubhouse. A researched paper of broad interest is presented after dinner by a club member. |

All residents welcome. Exciting trips sponsored by the club are offered at group rates. (Examples: Africa, Ireland.) |

| Woodworking Club |
Members maintain a well-equipped wood shop, restricted to club members, who, for an annual fee, have access to a wide range of power and hand tools. Anything the serious cabinet maker might need, including skilled members ready to share their expertise with those who may be less experienced. Or just a comfortable place to do small repair jobs, with tools to share. A growing library provides access to plans and ideas for many exciting projects, large and small.
Safety is of paramount importance to the Woodworking Club. New members are given an introduction to the shop and its equipment so that they are able to use the tools safely. |
| Needleworkers for Charity |
Needleworkers for Charity. This group gathers to knit items to give to charity and socialize and make friends in the process. Any needle worker is welcome. Participation in the charitable project is not necessary. Knitting instruction will be provided to beginners wishing to learn. |
